How Stairlift Rental Works in Urmston
If you’re considering stairlift hire in Urmston, we’ll guide you through the process from start to finish. It begins with a free assessment of your staircase, followed by professional installation if rental is suitable. When the stairlift is no longer needed, we’ll arrange its removal too.
We Assess Your Staircase
We’ll assess the staircase in your Urmston home first, checking its layout before confirming whether we can provide a suitable rental stairlift.
2
Your Stairlift Is Installed
Once you’ve decided to go ahead, our team will arrange the fitting. Most rental stairlifts can be installed within 24-48 hours of your home survey.
3
Keep It as Long as You Need
Your £600 payment includes supply, installation and the first 3 months. From month 4, rental is just £60 a month.
4
We Collect It for You
When you no longer need your stairlift, we’ll arrange collection from your Urmston home at no additional charge.
Renting a Stairlift in Urmston.
Many homes in Urmston feature semi-detached or terraced layouts with staircases that include turns or landings. This helps us assess which rental options may be suitable, as the staircase configuration influences the type of stairlift that can be installed. Checking the staircase details allows us to plan the best approach for your property.
During our free home survey, we check the actual staircase to understand its layout and available space. This allows us to discuss which rental options may be appropriate, especially if you prefer not to buy a stairlift outright or are unsure how long it may be needed. Our team will guide you through the process based on what we find.

For £600 initially, we’ll supply and professionally fit the stairlift and include your first 3 months’ rental. From the fourth month onwards, continued rental costs £60 a month.
If buying a stairlift outright isn’t right for you, our rental option gives you a straightforward monthly alternative with 24-hour callout support and free removal included.
Are Rental Stairlifts Safe & Reliable?
Yes. Choosing to rent rather than buy doesn’t mean accepting a lower standard of stairlift. Before installation, our rental stairlifts are professionally serviced, checked and tested. Our team then fits and checks the stairlift in your home and shows you how to use its safety features. 24-hour callout support is included throughout the rental.
- Professionally serviced & tested
- Fitted and checked by our own team
- 24-hour callout included
- Free removal when no longer needed
A rental stairlift still needs to be safe, reliable and properly installed. Our team checks the equipment before fitting and provides ongoing support throughout your rental.
Should I Rent or Buy a Stairlift?
There isn’t one right choice between stairlift rental and buying. If you only expect to need a stairlift for a limited period, or you’re unsure how long it will be required, renting can give you a more flexible option.
For somebody expecting to use a stairlift over the longer term, buying can be an option worth comparing with rental. New and professionally reconditioned stairlifts are available if you would rather own the stairlift.
Not sure which route to take? At your free home survey in Urmston, we can assess your staircase, explain the rental and purchase choices available and answer your questions without putting you under pressure to choose one over the other.
