Curved Stairlifts in Macclesfield, Made to Fit Your Staircase.

CURVED STAIRLIFT INSTALLATION

Does Your Staircase Need a Curved Stairlift?

If your staircase changes direction, has a bend or includes an intermediate landing, a standard straight stairlift may not be suitable. A curved stairlift uses a rail made specifically to follow the shape of your stairs, allowing the lift to travel smoothly around corners and between different flights.

As an independent curved stairlift supplier and installer in Macclesfield, we’ll visit your home and accurately survey the entire staircase before recommending the best solution.

Your rail is then made to fit the precise bends, turns and dimensions of your stairs.

A curved stairlift may be needed if your staircase has:

Not sure what you need? That’s exactly what the free home survey is for. We’ll assess your staircase, explain the suitable options and give you a clear quote with no obligation.

CURVED STAIRLIFT PRICES SK10

How Much Does a Curved Stairlift Cost in Macclesfield?

Every curved staircase is different, so unlike a straight stairlift, there isn’t one fixed price. The rail has to be made specifically for the length, bends and turns of your staircase.

But we believe it’s helpful to give you a realistic starting point.

From £4,000

A professionally prepared curved stairlift with a rail made to fit your staircase.

NEW CURVED STAIRLIFT

From £6,000

A brand-new curved stairlift, custom-built to follow the exact shape of your staircase.

Why does the price of a curved stairlift vary?

The final cost of a curved stairlift in Macclesfield will depend mainly on the length of the staircase, the number and type of bends, any intermediate landings and the overall complexity of the rail required.

That’s why we provide a free home survey. We’ll measure your staircase accurately, explain the new and reconditioned options available and give you a clear, no-obligation price before you decide.

NEW OR RECONDITIONED?

Which Curved Stairlift Is Right for You?

A new curved stairlift gives you a brand-new chair and drive unit, with a rail manufactured to follow the exact bends, turns and landings of your staircase. With prices starting from £6,000, it’s a good choice if you want a completely new system with the latest suitable features and options.

A reconditioned curved stairlift can offer a more affordable alternative. The stairlift itself is professionally checked and prepared for reuse, while the curved rail still needs to be made to fit your individual staircase. Prices start from £4,000.

We’ll explain both options during your free home survey, including the differences in price, features and warranty, so you can decide which makes most sense for your home and budget.

Curved Stairlift FAQs for Macclesfield Homes

Answers to some of the questions we're most often asked about choosing, pricing and installing curved stairlifts in Macclesfield.

Every home and staircase is different, so if you can’t find the answer you need, we’re happy to help.

Give us a call on 0800 093 6117 or book a free home survey and we can talk through your options with you. There’s no obligation and no high-pressure sales.

How much does a curved stairlift cost in Macclesfield?

Our reconditioned curved stairlifts start from £4,000, while new curved stairlifts start from £6,000. The final price depends on your individual staircase, including its length, number of bends, landings and the complexity of the curved rail required. We’ll measure your stairs during a free home survey and provide a clear, no-obligation quote.

How do I know if I need a curved stairlift in Macclesfield?

You will usually need a curved stairlift if your staircase has a bend, turn, intermediate landing or changes direction between floors. The rail is made to follow the shape of your individual staircase. If you’re unsure, we’ll assess your stairs during a free home survey in Macclesfield and explain which type of stairlift is most suitable.

How long does a curved stairlift take to manufacture and install in Macclesfield?

Once we’ve accurately surveyed your staircase, a custom curved rail can typically be manufactured in 5-7 days. When your stairlift is ready, installation can normally be completed within a single day.

Can a curved stairlift go around a landing or multiple bends?

Yes. Curved stairlifts are specifically designed for staircases with bends, turns and landings that a straight rail cannot follow. The rail is manufactured to follow the shape and direction of your staircase, which is why an accurate home survey is required before manufacture.

Can I buy a reconditioned curved stairlift in Macclesfield?

Yes. We offer reconditioned curved stairlifts in Macclesfield from £4,000. The stairlift is professionally checked and prepared for reuse, while the curved rail still needs to be made to fit your individual staircase. We’ll explain the new and reconditioned options available during your free home survey.

Can a curved stairlift be fitted to a narrow staircase in Macclesfield?

Potentially, yes. Whether a curved stairlift can be fitted safely depends on the width and shape of the staircase, the bends or landings involved and the space available for getting on and off. We’ll measure the staircase during your free survey in Macclesfield and advise you on the suitable options rather than guessing from measurements over the phone.

Do you supply and install curved stairlifts throughout Macclesfield?

Yes. Working with our curved stairlift partner we offer professional installs of curved stairlifts in Macclesfield, including new and reconditioned options. Every curved installation starts with a free home survey so we can measure your staircase, discuss what you need and provide an accurate quote before you decide.
